MISSION STATEMENT

Founded in 1987 by Lynda & Ron Sussman as an employee benefit brokerage, COB reflects the skills and values of its creators. Its goal is not just to quote, but provide hands on support for agents, and clients nationwide. COB is independent, state of the art and totally service driven. COB also works directly with the public, mainly as an outsource agency for many national and local staffing services, and offers product and assistance in Spanish. "We realize that we cannot insure everyone, however, we can offer guidance, support and direction in the resolution of their special needs."

MANAGEMENT PROFILES

Ronald C. Sussman -- President

As President, Mr. Sussman is responsible for the overall operation, direction, and growth of the firm. With more than thirty years in business and industry, Mr. Sussman has an extensive background in business automation and management information systems. He has over eleven years experience in employee benefits and is a licensed Third Party Administrator.

Lynda L. Sussman -- Executive Vice President/Director of Marketing

Lynda Sussman is the Executive VP and Marketing Director of C.O.B.,Inc, based in Towson, MD. She and her partner, Ronald C. Sussman, co-founded the businesses in 1987, and she is responsible for the marketing, communication and development. Lynda spent many years as a teacher in the local school systems and works in both English and Spanish. COB offers their products through independent agents throughout the USA, and also offers support and guidance directly to the local communities. Several years ago the partners created "The Freedom Health and Wellness Card," in order to provide some sorely needed assistance to the working poor. COB's mission is to assist working families, and as a result are often outsourced by associations, firms, and non-profits. "We realize that we cannot insure everyone, however, we can offer guidance, support and direction of their special needs." Ms. Sussman continues to teach and develop CE courses for Maryland agents carrying a health insurance license, with emphasis on the Individual Market. Courses include: "Medicare 101; Portable Products in a Volatile Environment; and most recently; Limited Benefit Plans: 2005 and Beyond."
